出埃及记31:12～18

安息日
12 耶/和/华晓谕摩西说：

13「你要吩咐以色列人说：『你们务要守我的安息日；因为这是你我之间世世代代的证据，使你们知道我－耶/和/华是叫你们成为圣的。

14 所以你们要守安息日，以为圣日。凡干犯这日的，必要把他治死；凡在这日做工的，必从民中剪除。

15 六日要做工，但第七日是安息圣日，是向耶/和/华守为圣的。凡在安息日做工的，必要把他治死。』

16 故此，以色列人要世世代代守安息日为永远的约。

17 这是我和以色列人永远的证据；因为六日之内耶/和/华造天地，第七日便安息舒畅。」

18 耶/和/华在西奈山和摩西说完了话，就把两块法版交给他，是　 SHEN 用指头写的石版。

The Sabbath

12 Then the Lord said to Moses,

13 “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.

14 “ ‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people.

15 For six days work is to be done, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day is to be put to death.

16 The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant.

17 It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’ ”

18 When the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.

要守安息日(14节):这里的“守”为持守、记在心中、保护之意，指要下决心持守。
剪除(14节):和第15节的“处死”一样，指肉/体的死亡、与 SHEN 的关系和 TA 的赐福的断绝。
出20:11b“所以耶/和/华赐福与安息日，定为圣日。

灵/修指南

SHEN 在刻画完会幕的蓝图之后，吩咐摩西和百姓要守安息日(13节)，安息日是章显 SHEN 的日子，会幕建得再好，若不能正确事奉和敬/拜 SHEN ，就毫无用处。因此，凡不守安息日的，就要被处死(14~15节)。安息日是 SHEN 亲自赐福并命定的日子，因此以色列百姓有责任和义务予以持守(参出20:11b)，实际上，以色列百姓在建造会幕的过程中也遵守了安息日。就像 SHEN 在六天内创造天地，在第七天安息一样，他们也在六天内努力做工，在第七天完全休息并敬/拜 SHEN 。可见，安息日是显 SHEN 是万物之主的日子(17节)。安息日并非单纯是不工作的日子，而是提醒我们要信靠 SHEN 的日子。当我们坚定持守做六休一的安息日节奏，必能享受 SHEN 所应许的恢复，周周重新得力。
