Oct 15 【每日活水】忘记恩典,就会心生抱怨

 

出埃及记 15:22~27

苦水
22  摩西以色列人从红海往前行,到了书珥的旷野,在旷野走了三天,找不着水。 
23  到了玛拉,不能喝那里的水;因为水苦,所以那地名叫玛拉。 
24 百姓就向摩西发怨言,说:「我们喝什么呢?」 
25  摩西呼求耶/和/华,耶/和/华指示他一棵树。他把树丢在水里,水就变甜了。
耶/和/华在那里为他们定了律例、典章,在那里试验他们; 
26  又说:「你若留意听耶/和/华-你  SHEN 的话,又行我眼中看为正的事,留心听我的诫命,守我一切的律例,我就不将所加与埃及人的疾病加在你身上,因为我-耶/和/华是医治你的。」
27  他们到了以琳,在那里有十二股水泉,七十棵棕树;他们就在那里的水边安营。

The Waters of Marah and Elim
22  Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water. 
23  When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.
24  So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?”
25  Then Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.
There the Lord issued a ruling and instruction for them and put them to the test. 
26  He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
27  Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there near the water.

书珥的旷野(22节): 位于埃及和迦南之间。
玛拉(23节): 意为“苦的”。
定了律例、典章(25节): 指 SHEN 借着此次的经历,作为一种未来教育后代的典范。
棕树(27节): 指生长在近东地区绿洲附近的枣椰树。

以色列人过了红海之后,在书珥的旷野走了三天,找不着水。后来他们到了玛拉,可是那里的水是苦的,不能喝(22~23节),百姓就向摩西发怨言(24节)。 SHEN 看顾以色列人,就向摩西指示一棵树,让他把树丢在水里,水就变甜了。 SHEN 借这件事定下律例、典章,作为教育的典范,以考验以色列人今后是否全然信靠他(25节)。以色列人被眼前的苦水夺去了心志,就忘记是 SHEN 将他们从埃及领出来的。人若忘记恩典,就会心生抱怨。我们作为 SHEN 的百姓,即使遭遇令人灰心失望的事,也要全然信靠永活的真 SHEN ,仰望他的帮助和带领。盼望我们即便走入生命的旷野,都能除去内心的抱怨和小信,立定心志全然信靠 SHEN 。
