出埃及记3:11～22

11 摩西对　神说：「我是什么人，竟能去见法老，将以色列人从埃及领出来呢？」

12 　神说：「我必与你同在。你将百姓从埃及领出来之后，你们必在这山上事奉我；这就是我打发你去的证据。」

13 摩西对　神说：「我到以色列人那里，对他们说：『你们祖宗的　神打发我到你们这里来。』他们若问我说：『他叫什么名字？』我要对他们说什么呢？」

14 　神对摩西说：「我是自有永有的」；又说：「你要对以色列人这样说：『那自有的打发我到你们这里来。』」

15 　神又对摩西说：「你要对以色列人这样说：『耶和华－你们祖宗的　神，就是亚伯拉罕的　神，以撒的　神，雅各的　神，打发我到你们这里来。』耶和华是我的名，直到永远；这也是我的纪念，直到万代。

16你去招聚以色列的长老，对他们说：『耶和华－你们祖宗的　神，就是亚伯拉罕的　神，以撒的　神，雅各的　神，向我显现，说：我实在眷顾了你们，我也看见埃及人怎样待你们。

17我也说：要将你们从埃及的困苦中领出来，往迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的地去，就是到流奶与蜜之地。』

18他们必听你的话。你和以色列的长老要去见埃及王，对他说：『耶和华－希伯来人的　神遇见了我们，现在求你容我们往旷野去，走三天的路程，为要祭祀耶和华－我们的　神。』

19我知道虽用大能的手，埃及王也不容你们去。

20我必伸手在埃及中间施行我一切的奇事，攻击那地，然后他才容你们去。

21我必叫你们在埃及人眼前蒙恩，你们去的时候就不至于空手而去。

22但各妇女必向她的邻舍，并居住在她家里的女人，要金器银器和衣裳，好给你们的儿女穿戴。这样你们就把埃及人的财物夺去了。」
11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”
12 And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”
13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”
15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’
“This is my name forever,
the name you shall call me
from generation to generation.
16 “Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—appeared to me and said: I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt.17 And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—a land flowing with milk and honey.’18 “The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God.’

19But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand compels him.

20So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go.
21“And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed. 22Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians.”

我要对他们说什么呢（13节）：当时埃及人信奉诸多神明，因此若有人主张自己受到神的差派，他们就习惯问对方所事奉的神的名字，并且借此评价对方及其权威。
我是自有永有的（14节）：提到神的自存和永存，表明神是一切存在的基础。
为要向耶和华我们的神献祭（18节）：意为恢复对神的信仰，这句话也揭开了以色列人出埃及的目的。

灵修指南

神对摩西说祂是“自有永有的”（14节），表明神自存到永远。另外，神又说祂是“耶和华–你们祖宗的神”，表明祂记念与祂百姓所立的约（15-16节），可见神是一位有位格的神。这位具有位格的神应许摩西，说“我必与你同在”（12节），并将带领以色列人出埃及的计划告诉他，又要摩西倚靠祂的大能使法老屈服，以致让以色列人带着埃及人的财物离开（19-22节）。神之所以赐给摩西这些应许，是要让摩西提前知道祂的计划，以致对于他所担当的使命怀抱确实的信心。另外，神也要安慰和补偿在埃及饱受劳役之苦的以色列人，使他们不致空手离开。盼望我们今天也能怀抱确实的信心，相信一切都由神所统管和带领，并且借着与祂建立亲密的关系，经历丰盛的恩典。
