作MEN TU的代价

（太10‧37－38）

25 有极多的人和 YS 同行。他转过来对他们说：

26「人到我这里来，若不爱我胜过爱自己的父母、妻子、儿女、弟兄、姊妹，和自己的性命，就不能作我的MEN TU。

27 凡不背着自己十/字/架跟从我的，也不能作我的MEN TU。

28 你们哪一个要盖一座楼，不先坐下算计花费，能盖成不能呢？

29 恐怕安了地基，不能成功，看见的人都笑话他，说：

30 『这个人开了工，却不能完工。』

31 或是一个王出去和别的王打仗，岂不先坐下酌量，能用一万兵去敌那领二万兵来攻打他的吗？

32 若是不能，就趁敌人还远的时候，派使者去求和息的条款。

33 这样，你们无论什么人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的MEN TU。」

失味的盐

34 「盐本是好的；盐若失了味，可用什么叫它再咸呢？

35 或用在田里，或堆在粪里，都不合式，只好丢在外面。有耳可听的，就应当听！」

The Cost of Being a Disciple

25 Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said:

26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.

27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?

29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you,

30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’

31 “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?

32 If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace.

33 In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.

34 “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?

35 It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out.

“Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

YS 无论走到哪里，都有一大群想看 SHEN 迹的人跟着 TA 。然而这一天， YS 却打破他们的期待，对他们说了一些让他们心里作难的话。 TA 说，要作 TA 的MEN TU，就要爱 TA 胜过爱自己的家人乃至性命，背起自己的十/字/架来跟从 TA （27节）。不仅如此， YS 还用盖楼和打仗的比喻告诉他们，应当抱着怎样的决心来作 TA 的MEN TU。若非如此，就不能成为 TA 的MEN TU，只能像失了味的盐一样被丢在外面。以 YS 为自己的救/主，信靠 TA ，就是跟从 TA ，走 TA 所走过的路，而 YS 在这地上所走的是苦难之路，但是我们要铭记，路的尽头有永恒的赏赐在等待我们。盼望我们都能明白作 YS MEN TU的代价，并甘心乐意地背起自己的十/字/架来跟从 TA 。
