箴言14:19~35

19坏人俯伏在善人面前;
恶人俯伏在义人门口。
20贫穷人连邻舍也恨他;
富足人朋友最多。
21藐视邻舍的,这人有罪;
怜悯贫穷的,这人有福。
22谋恶的,岂非走入迷途吗?
谋善的,必得慈爱和诚实。
23诸般勤劳都有益处;
嘴上多言乃致穷乏。
24智慧人的财为自己的冠冕;
愚妄人的愚昧终是愚昧。
25作真见证的,救人性命;
吐出谎言的,施行诡诈。
26敬畏耶/和/华的,大有倚靠;
他的儿女也有避难所。
27敬畏耶/和/华就是生命的泉源,
可以使人离开死亡的网罗。
28帝王荣耀在乎民多;
君王衰败在乎民少。
29不轻易发怒的,大有聪明;
性情暴躁的,大显愚妄。
30心中安静是肉/体的生命;
嫉妒是骨中的朽烂。
31欺压贫寒的,是辱没造他的主;
怜悯穷乏的,乃是尊敬主。
32恶人在所行的恶上必被推倒;
义人临死,有所投靠。
33智慧存在聪明人心中;
愚昧人心里所存的,显而易见。
34公义使邦国高举;
罪恶是人民的羞辱。
35智慧的臣子蒙王恩惠;
贻羞的仆人遭其震怒。
19Evildoers will bow down in the presence of the good,
and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
20The poor are shunned even by their neighbors,
but the rich have many friends.
21It is a sin to despise one’s neighbor,
but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy.
22Do not those who plot evil go astray?
But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.
23All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty.
24The wealth of the wise is their crown,
but the folly of fools yields folly.
25A truthful witness saves lives,
but a false witness is deceitful.
26Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress,
and for their children it will be a refuge.
27The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,
turning a person from the snares of death.
28A large population is a king’s glory,
but without subjects a prince is ruined.
29Whoever is patient has great understanding,
but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.
30A heart at peace gives life to the body,
but envy rots the bones.
31Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker,
but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
32When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down,
but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.
33Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning
and even among fools she lets herself be known.
34Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin condemns any people.
35A king delights in a wise servant,
but a shameful servant arouses his fury.

坏人在善人面前俯伏(19节):宣告善人最终将胜过坏人,这意味着,如今的世界虽然看似坏人得势但最终 SHEN 的公义将临到,善人将得胜。

灵/修指南

所罗门将教导的范围逐渐扩大至社会关系和国家经营,更加鲜明地论到恶人和义人的差异(21,34节)。当百姓敬畏 SHEN ,又遵行 SHEN 的话,那么社会和国家就会拥有真正的和平稳定;相反,百姓如果谋恶行恶,那么社会和国家就不能稳固,并将受到 SHEN 严厉的刑罚,走向灭亡。因此,信/徒有责任为了自己所属的群体谋求稳定和福祉,应当在 SHEN 话语的根基之上,寻求和实践 SHEN 的公义,积极介人这个世界(34节);此外,还要敬畏和信靠 SHEN ,以使我们自己大有倚靠,也使我们的儿女得着避难之所(26节)。盼望我们借着敬畏 SHEN 和怜悯贫穷人,使我们的邻舍、社会和国家成为高举 SHEN 的群体,也被 SHEN 高举。甚愿我们在这个地上作一个有福又大有 倚靠的智慧人。
