加拉太书4：1～11
1我说那承受产业的，虽然是全业的主人，但为孩童的时候却与奴仆毫无分别，
2乃在师傅和管家的手下，直等他父亲预定的时候来到。
3我们为孩童的时候，受管于世俗小学之下，也是如此。
4及至时候满足， SHEN 就差遣他的儿子，为女子所生，且生在律/法以下，
5要把律/法以下的人赎出来，叫我们得着儿子的名分。
6你们既为儿子， SHEN 就差他儿子的灵进入你们的心，呼叫：「阿爸！父！」
7可见，从此以后，你不是奴仆，乃是儿子了；既是儿子，就靠着 SHEN 为后嗣。

8但从前你们不认识 SHEN 的时候，是给那些本来不是 SHEN 的作奴仆；
9现在你们既然认识 SHEN ，更可说是被 SHEN 所认识的，怎么还要归回那懦弱无用的小学，情愿再给他作奴仆呢？
10你们谨守日子、月份、节期、年份，
11我为你们害怕，惟恐我在你们身上是枉费了工夫。
1What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.
2The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.
3So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world.
4But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
6Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”
7So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
Paul’s Concern for the Galatians
8Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods.
9But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?
10You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!
11I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.
