1 我夜间躺卧在床上，

寻找我心所爱的；

我寻找他，却寻不见。

2 我说：我要起来，游行城中，

在街市上，在宽阔处，

寻找我心所爱的。

我寻找他，却寻不见。

3 城中巡逻看守的人遇见我；

我问他们：你们看见我心所爱的没有？

4 我刚离开他们就遇见我心所爱的。

我拉住他，不容他走，

领他入我母家，

到怀我者的内室。

5 耶路撒冷的众女子啊，

我指着羚羊或田野的母鹿嘱咐你们：

不要惊动、不要叫醒我所亲爱的，

等他自己情愿。

第三首

〔新娘〕

6 那从旷野上来、形状如烟柱、

以没药和乳香并商人各样香粉薰的是谁呢？

7 看哪，是所罗门的轿；

四围有六十个勇士，

都是以色列中的勇士；

8 手都持刀，善于争战，

腰间佩刀，防备夜间有惊慌。

9 所罗门王用黎巴嫩木

为自己制造一乘华轿。

10 轿柱是用银做的，

轿底是用金做的；

坐垫是紫色的，

其中所铺的乃耶路撒冷众女子的爱情。

11 锡安的众女子啊，

你们出去观看所罗门王！

头戴冠冕，就是在他婚筵的日子、

心中喜乐的时候，他母亲给他戴上的。

1 All night long on my bed

I looked for the one my heart loves;

I looked for him but did not find him.

2 I will get up now and go about the city,

through its streets and squares;

I will search for the one my heart loves.

3 The watchmen found me

as they made their rounds in the city.

“Have you seen the one my heart loves?”

4 Scarcely had I passed them

when I found the one my heart loves.

I held him and would not let him go

till I had brought him to my mother’s house,

to the room of the one who conceived me.

5 Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you

by the gazelles and by the does of the field:

Do not arouse or awaken love

until it so desires.

6 Who is this coming up from the wilderness

like a column of smoke,

perfumed with myrrh and incense

made from all the spices of the merchant?

7 Look! It is Solomon’s carriage,

escorted by sixty warriors,

the noblest of Israel,

8 all of them wearing the sword,

all experienced in battle,

each with his sword at his side,

prepared for the terrors of the night.

9 King Solomon made for himself the carriage;

he made it of wood from Lebanon.

10 Its posts he made of silver,

its base of gold.

Its seat was upholstered with purple,

its interior inlaid with love.

Daughters of Jerusalem,

11 come out,

and look, you daughters of Zion.

Look on King Solomon wearing a crown,

the crown with which his mother crowned him

on the day of his wedding,

the day his heart rejoiced.

书拉密的女子此时暂时与恋人分离，她称男子为“我心所爱的”(1节)。在梦里也四处寻找她的恋人，渴望见到他，甚至问巡逻的守卫，是否见到自己的恋人(2~3节)。从这里我们可以看出女子对恋人的爱之深沉，以及她有多么迫切想要见到自己的新郎。而男子以女子无法想象的英姿，再次出现在她的面前，用一场堪比加冕仪式的盛大典礼，迎娶自己所爱的女子。六十个勇士护卫在所罗门的四围，确保他的安全(7节)，轿子是用结实无比的黎巴嫩木做的，装饰是用珍贵的金银做的，只为迎娶自己的恋人(9-10节)。那曾恳切寻找自己恋人的女子，终于和爱她的男子举行了婚礼，结出爱情的果实。活在这个地上的信/徒也一样，当我们经历孤独的时候，要像书拉密的女子渴想并寻找新郎一样，渴慕并寻找我们的主 YS JI DU 。盼望我们能够活出 JI DU 新妇的样式，每天渴慕井寻找主的爱。
