申命记4：41~49

设立河东的庇护城

41「那时，摩西在约旦河东，向日出之地，分定三座城，

42使那素无仇恨、无心杀了人的，可以逃到这三城之中的一座城，就得存活：

43为吕便人分定旷野平原的比悉；为迦得人分定基列的拉末；为玛拿西人分定巴珊的哥兰。」

重申律法诫命

44 摩西在以色列人面前所陈明的律法－

45就是摩西在以色列人出埃及后所传给他们的法度、律例、典章；

46在约旦河东伯‧毗珥对面的谷中，在住希实本、亚摩利王西宏之地；这西宏是摩西和以色列人出埃及后所击杀的。

47他们得了他的地，又得了巴珊王噩的地，就是两个亚摩利王，在约旦河东向日出之地。

48从亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥，直到西云山，就是黑门山。

49还有约旦河东的全亚拉巴，直到亚拉巴海，靠近毗斯迦山根。

Cities of Refuge

41Then Moses set aside three cities east of the Jordan,

42to which anyone who had killed a person could flee if they had unintentionally killed a neighbor without malice aforethought. They could flee into one of these cities and save their life.

43The cities were these: Bezer in the wilderness plateau, for the Reubenites; Ramoth in Gilead, for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, for the Manassites.

Introduction to the Law

44This is the law Moses set before the Israelites.

45These are the stipulations, decrees and laws Moses gave them when they came out of Egypt

46and were in the valley near Beth Peor east of the Jordan, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon and was defeated by Moses and the Israelites as they came out of Egypt. 47They took possession of his land and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan.

48This land extended from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge to Mount Sirion (that is, Hermon), 49and included all the Arabah east of the Jordan, as far as the Dead Sea, below the slopes of Pisgah.

可以逃到这三座城中的一座(42节):因突发事件而无意间致人死亡的人，可以为躲避死者亲属的报复逃至此地。

灵修指南

摩西向第二代以色列人描述神如何爱他们的列祖、向他们独行奇事，并且这爱延续至今。这爱不仅使他们得以进人应许地，颁布帮助他们的律法，甚至细心到为百姓设立逃城(41~43节)。这是神为了保护那些无意且过失杀人的人，可以免受血债血还的报复。摩西在第二篇讲道中提醒百姓，这些法度、律例与典章，早在第一代以色列人出埃及时神就已颁布，如今将随着神与他们所立的约被继续延续下去(44~49节)。神早已想好以色列人结束旷野生活、进人不同社会环境时所需的一切。所以，身为基督徒，应该集中心力了解神的心思和旨意。事实上，基督徒已经从耶稣那里得到逃城恩典，从原本无望生命中得着盼望。因此，我们担负着神的恩典，更应该将恩典流向他人。
