马太福音9：32-38

治好哑巴
32他们出去的时候，有人将鬼所附的一个哑巴带到耶稣跟前来。

33鬼被赶出去，哑巴就说出话来。众人都希奇，说：「在以色列中，从来没有见过这样的事。」

34法利赛人却说：「他是靠着鬼王赶鬼。」

耶稣的怜悯

35耶稣走遍各城各乡，在会堂里教训人，宣讲天国的福音，又医治各样的病症。

36他看见许多的人，就怜悯他们；因为他们困苦流离，如同羊没有牧人一般。

37于是对门徒说：「要收的庄稼多，做工的人少。

38所以你们当求庄稼的主，打发工人出去收他的庄稼。」

32-33 Right after that，as the blind men were leaving，a man who had been struck speechless by an evil spirit was brought to Jesus. As soon as Jesus threw the evil tor- menting spirit out, the man talked away just as if he’d been talking all his life. The people were up on their feet applauding：“There’s never been anything like this in Israel!”
34 The Pharisees were left sputtering，”Hocus-pocus. It’s nothing but hocus-po-
cus. He’s probably made a pact with the Devil.”
35-38 Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meet- ing places，reported kingdom news，and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives. When he looked out over the crowds，his heart broke. So con- fused and aimless they were，like sheep with no shepherd. “What a huge harvest！” he said to his disciples. “How few workers！ On your knees and pray for harvest hands！”

灵修指南

耶稣医好那两位盲人后，有人把一位被鬼附的哑巴带到耶稣跟前。耶稣使鬼离开那哑巴，并使他开口说话。看到这一切的群众都惊叹耶稣的属灵权柄和能力，不过，法利赛人仍然不愿承认耶稣的权柄。之后，耶稣四处教导，宣讲天国的福音，医治各种疾病。耶稣在进行福音事工的过程中，看见跟随自己的一大群人就心生怜悯(36节)，在眼中，这一大群人因心灵失去方向而仿徨，就像没有牧人的羊一样困苦无助。

因此，耶稣告诉门徒，要祈求神差遣更多的工人来参与福音事工(38节)。唯有怀着牧者的怜悯之心，才会驱使我们去拯救失丧的灵魂。当我们体会主的心意，就可以用怜悯的心服事他人，也才能成为主所期待的工人。
