马太福音8：14-22
治好许多病人
（可1‧29－34；路4‧38－41）
14耶稣到了彼得家里，见彼得的岳母害热病躺着。
15耶稣把她的手一摸，热就退了；她就起来服事耶稣。
16到了晚上，有人带着许多被鬼附的来到耶稣跟前，他只用一句话就把鬼都赶出去，并且治好了一切有病的人。
17这是要应验先知以赛亚的话，说：他代替我们的软弱，担当我们的疾病。
要跟从耶稣的人
（路9‧57－62）
18耶稣见许多人围着他，就吩咐渡到那边去。
19有一个文士来，对他说：「夫子，你无论往哪里去，我要跟从你。」
20耶稣说：「狐狸有洞，天空的飞鸟有窝，人子却没有枕头的地方。」
21又有一个门徒对耶稣说：「主啊，容我先回去埋葬我的父亲。」
22耶稣说：「任凭死人埋葬他们的死人；你跟从我吧！」
Jesus Heals Many
14When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.
16When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:“He took up our infirmities
and bore our diseases.”
The Cost of Following Jesus
18When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. 19Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
20Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
21Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
