马太福音6：26~34

26 你们看那天上的飞鸟，也不种，也不收，也不积蓄在仓里，你们的天父尚且养活它。你们不比飞鸟贵重得多吗？

27 你们哪一个能用思虑使寿数多加一刻呢？

28 何必为衣裳忧虑呢？你想野地里的百合花怎么长起来；它也不劳苦，也不纺线。

29 然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的，还不如这花一朵呢！

30 你们这小信的人哪！野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，　神还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢！

31 所以，不要忧虑说，吃什么？喝什么？穿什么？

32 这都是外邦人所求的。你们需用的这一切东西，你们的天父是知道的。

33 你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了。

34 所以，不要为明天忧虑，因为明天自有明天的忧虑；一天的难处一天当就够了。」

Fasting

26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

神的国和他的义(33节):“神的国”是指神的掌权及统治:“他的义”是指合神心意的行动、遵行神的旨意

灵修指南

耶稣告诉祂的门徒，要在生活中设定正确的优先顺序。为此，祂教导我们必须首先寻求神的国和神的义。寻求神的国，意味建立一个由神掌权的国度。寻求神的义，意思是要活出讨神喜悦的生活。耶稣说，如果我们将神的国和神的义摆在首位，我们就不必担忧我们的生活。神喂养空中的飞鸟，为将会扔进火炉的野草披上装饰。这样的神，当然会为实行旨意的门徒负责，看顾保守他们的生命。因此，当门徒一心寻求神的国和神的义时，就会经历神供应一切的奇妙恩典(33节)。所以，神国的子民必须活出合神心意的生活。愿我们不要为生存忧虑，而是尽力活出讨神喜悦的人生，享受神丰盛的恩典供应。
