马可福音5:35~43
35还说话的时候，有人从管会堂的家里来，说：「你的女儿死了，何必还劳动先生呢？」
36耶稣听见所说的话，就对管会堂的说：「不要怕，只要信！」
37于是带着彼得、雅各，和雅各的兄弟约翰同去，不许别人跟随他。
38他们来到管会堂的家里；耶稣看见那里乱嚷，并有人大大地哭泣哀号，
39进到里面，就对他们说：「为什么乱嚷哭泣呢？孩子不是死了，是睡着了。」
40他们就嗤笑耶稣。耶稣把他们都撵出去，就带着孩子的父母和跟随的人进了孩子所在的地方，
41就拉着孩子的手，对她说：「大利大，古米！」（翻出来就是说：「闺女，我吩咐你起来！」）
42那闺女立时起来走。他们就大大地惊奇；闺女已经十二岁了。
43耶稣切切地嘱咐他们，不要叫人知道这事，又吩咐给她东西吃。
35While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?”
36Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”
37He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James.
38When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly.
39He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.”
40But they laughed at him.After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was.
41He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!”(which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).
42Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished.
43He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.
