以弗所书 4:17～24

旧人和新人
17 所以我说，且在主里确实地说，你们行事不要再像外邦人存虚妄的心行事。

18 他们心地昏昧，与　 SHEN 所赐的生命隔绝了，都因自己无知，心里刚硬；

19 良心既然丧尽，就放纵私欲，贪行种种的污秽。

20 你们学了 JI DU ，却不是这样。

21 如果你们听过他的道，领了他的教，学了他的真理，

22 就要脱去你们从前行为上的旧人，这旧人是因私欲的迷惑渐渐变坏的；

23 又要将你们的心志改换一新，

24 并且穿上新人；这新人是照着　 SHEN 的形象造的，有真理的仁义和圣洁。

17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.

18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned

21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

存虚妄的心(17节):形容外邦人不敬虔的生活，没有 SHEN ，，一切都将归于虚无。
麻木(19节):指对罪没有羞耻心，不会受到良心的谴责。
旧我(22节)、新我(24节):“旧我”指被罪玷污的堕落状态，“新我”指在 JI DU 里重生得救的样式。

灵/修指南

论到 JI DU 徒的生活样式，保罗劝勉信/徒不要像外邦人一样虚妄地活着(17节)，因为他们心里刚硬而与 SHEN 隔绝，乃至犯罪且无羞愧之心(19节)。于是，保罗提醒以弗所 JH 的信/徒，既然他们已经认识 JI DU 并学过的真理，就要脱去照着先前生活模式、受到迷惑而逐渐败坏的旧我(22节)，并要更新自己的心志(23节)。心志即心中的灵，意指重生得救的人要靠着 SHENG LING 更新自己心中的灵。盼望我们谨记保罗的教导，穿上照着 SHEN 的形像造的、从真理来的公义和圣洁所成就的新我，彰显 SHEN 圣洁的形像，成为讨 SHEN 喜悦的MEN TU。
