以赛亚书54：11～17

耶路撒冷的将来

11你这受困苦、被风飘荡不得安慰的人哪，我必以彩色安置你的石头，以蓝宝石立定你的根基；

12 又以红宝石造你的女墙，

以红玉造你的城门，

以宝石造你四围的边界。

13 你的儿女都要受耶和华的教训；

你的儿女必大享平安。

14 你必因公义得坚立，

必远离欺压，不致害怕；

你必远离惊吓，惊吓必不临近你。

15 即或有人聚集，却不由于我；

凡聚集攻击你的，必因你仆倒。

16 吹嘘炭火、打造合用器械的铁匠是我所造；

残害人、行毁灭的也是我所造。

17 凡为攻击你造成的器械必不利用；

凡在审判时兴起用舌攻击你的，

你必定他为有罪。

这是耶和华仆人的产业，

是他们从我所得的义。

这是耶和华说的。

11 “Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,

I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,

your foundations with lapis lazuli.

12 I will make your battlements of rubies,

your gates of sparkling jewels,

and all your walls of precious stones.

13 All your children will be taught by the Lord,

and great will be their peace.

14 In righteousness you will be established:

Tyranny will be far from you;

you will have nothing to fear.

Terror will be far removed;

it will not come near you.

15 If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;

whoever attacks you will surrender to you.

16 “See, it is I who created the blacksmith

who fans the coals into flame

and forges a weapon fit for its work.

And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;

17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,

and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,

and this is their vindication from me,”

declares the Lord.

蓝宝石、红宝石、晶莹的珠玉、珍贵的宝石(11~12 节):这些宝石象征丰富、完美、奢华和荣耀。

耶和华仆人(17节):42章19节提及的“仆人”是单数，指耶稣基督，而这里的“仆人”在希伯来文里为复数，指的是神的百姓。

灵修指南

以赛亚预言神对祂百姓的愤怒是暂时的，日后必将赐给他们永远的怜悯和慈爱神将用美丽的宝石而非一般的石头装饰耶路撒冷(11~12节)，并且祂造了制造武器的工匠，使得没有人能够伤害祂的百姓(16~17节)，那些攻击神百姓的人终将被打败。这样的救赎和保护宣言，是基于神的恩典，也建立在神的怜悯和应许之上。我们唯有全然信靠这位施行拯救的神，才能在与世界的争战中得胜，并得享从神而来的平安和保护。
