以赛亚书49：8～13

耶路撒冷的复兴

8 耶/和/华如此说：

在悦纳的时候，我应允了你；

在拯救的日子，我济助了你。

我要保护你，

使你作众民的中保；

复兴遍地，

使人承受荒凉之地为业。

9 对那被捆绑的人说：出来吧！

对那在黑暗的人说：显露吧！

他们在路上必得饮食，

在一切净光的高处必有食物。

10 不饥不渴，

炎热和烈日必不伤害他们；

因为怜恤他们的必引导他们，

领他们到水泉旁边。

11 我必使我的众山成为大道；

我的大路也被修高。

12 看哪，这些从远方来；

这些从北方、从西方来；

这些从秦国来。

13 诸天哪，应当欢呼！

大地啊，应当快乐！

众山哪，应当发声歌唱！

因为耶/和/华已经安慰他的百姓，

也要怜恤他困苦之民。

Restoration of Israel

8 This is what the Lord says:

“In the time of my favor I will answer you,

and in the day of salvation I will help you;

I will keep you and will make you

to be a covenant for the people,

to restore the land

and to reassign its desolate inheritances,

9 to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’

and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’

“They will feed beside the roads

and find pasture on every barren hill.

10 They will neither hunger nor thirst,

nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them.

He who has compassion on them will guide them

and lead them beside springs of water.

11 I will turn all my mountains into roads,

and my highways will be raised up.

12 See, they will come from afar—

some from the north, some from the west,

some from the region of Aswan.”

13 Shout for joy, you heavens;

rejoice, you earth;

burst into song, you mountains!

For the Lord comforts his people

and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

SHEN 回应以色列人的恳求，即使他们选择了罪恶的道路， SHEN 也依然帮助他们，并允许他们承受应许之地(8节)。当以色列人在被掳之地承受黑暗与痛苦， SHEN 也不曾放弃他们，必将他们领到水泉旁边(10节)。诸天、大地和众山都因 SHEN 怜悯和拯救 TA 的困苦之民，而扬声赞美 TA (13节)。 SHEN 从来没有放弃过 TA 所拣选的子民，并透过信实、完全的计划和应许来证明 TA 是真 SHEN 。 SHEN 的计划和应许仍在继续，直到主再来的那天得到完全的成就。虽然有时我们的生活似乎无路可走，但是作为 SHEN 的儿女，我们必须凭着信心持续前行，并且记得，真正的安慰和恢复不是来自这个世界，而是来自天上的 SHEN 国。
