以赛亚书48：12～22

耶/和/华拣选塞鲁士为领导者

12 雅各－我所选召的以色列啊，

当听我言：

我是耶/和/华，

我是首先的，也是末后的。

13 我手立了地的根基；

我右手铺张诸天；

我一招呼便都立住。

14 你们都当聚集而听，

他们内中谁说过这些事？

耶/和/华所爱的人必向巴比伦行他所喜悦的事；

他的膀臂也要加在迦勒底人身上。

15 惟有我曾说过，我又选召他，

领他来，他的道路就必亨通。

16 你们要就近我来听这话：

我从起头并未曾在隐密处说话；

自从有这事，我就在那里。

现在，主耶/和/华差遣我和他的灵来。

耶/和/华对他子民的计划

17 耶/和/华－你的救/赎主，

以色列的圣者如此说：

我是耶/和/华－你的　 SHEN ，

教训你，使你得益处，

引导你所当行的路。

18 甚愿你素来听从我的命令！

你的平安就如河水；

你的公义就如海浪。

19 你的后裔也必多如海沙；

你腹中所生的也必多如沙粒。

他的名在我面前必不剪除，

也不灭绝。

20 你们要从巴比伦出来，

从迦勒底人中逃脱，

以欢呼的声音传扬说：

耶/和/华救/赎了他的仆人雅各！

你们要将这事宣扬到地极。

21 耶/和/华引导他们经过沙漠。

他们并不干渴；

他为他们使水从磐石而流，

分裂磐石，水就涌出。

22 耶/和/华说：

恶人必不得平安！

12 “Listen to me, Jacob,

Israel, whom I have called:

I am he;

I am the first and I am the last.

13 My own hand laid the foundations of the earth,

and my right hand spread out the heavens;

when I summon them,

they all stand up together.

14 “Come together, all of you, and listen:

Which of the idols has foretold these things?

The Lord’s chosen ally

will carry out his purpose against Babylon;

his arm will be against the Babylonians.

15 I, even I, have spoken;

yes, I have called him.

I will bring him,

and he will succeed in his mission.

16 “Come near me and listen to this:

“From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret;

at the time it happens, I am there.”

And now the Sovereign Lord has sent me,

endowed with his Spirit.

17 This is what the Lord says—

your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:

“I am the Lord your God,

who teaches you what is best for you,

who directs you in the way you should go.

18 If only you had paid attention to my commands,

your peace would have been like a river,

your well-being like the waves of the sea.

19 Your descendants would have been like the sand,

your children like its numberless grains;

their name would never be blotted out

nor destroyed from before me.”

20 Leave Babylon,

flee from the Babylonians!

Announce this with shouts of joy

and proclaim it.

Send it out to the ends of the earth;

say, “The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob.”

21 They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts;

he made water flow for them from the rock;

he split the rock

and water gushed out.

22 “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”

耶/和/华的旨意(14节)：指 SHEN 计划借波斯之手来消灭巴比伦。

SHEN 透过先知让以色列人知道 TA 的计划和旨意。 SHEN 说外邦君王居鲁士是 TA 所爱的，并宣告要使用他来实现审判巴比伦的计划。迄今为止， SHEN 向的 TA 的子民所发的命令都是相同且明确的，只是人们因为不听从 SHEN 的命令而不断遭遇困难(18节)。然而， SHEN 爱 TA 的子民到一个地步，再次赐给他们遵行自己话语的机会。 SHEN 应许等时候到了，以色列人将离开巴比伦，而 SHEN 要透过这条新命令来恢复以色列。 SHEN 的教导使我们得益处，指引我们走当行的路(17节)。如果我们遵守 SHEN 所赐的命令。就会经历从 TA 而来的恢复。 SHEN 今天也向 TA 的子民赐下新的命令，盼望我们每天都能够听从 SHEN 的命令，活出使/命，经历从 TA 而来的恢复与复兴。
