路加福音22：39～46

在橄榄山上祷告

39 耶稣出来，照常往橄榄山去，门徒也跟随他。

40 到了那地方，就对他们说：「你们要祷告，免得入了迷惑。」

41 于是离开他们约有扔一块石头那么远，跪下祷告，

42 说：「父啊！你若愿意，就把这杯撤去；然而，不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的意思。」

43 有一位天使从天上显现，加添他的力量。

44 耶稣极其伤痛，祷告更加恳切，汗珠如大血点滴在地上。

45 祷告完了，就起来，到门徒那里，见他们因为忧愁都睡着了，

46 就对他们说：「你们为什么睡觉呢？起来祷告，免得入了迷惑！」

Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives

39 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him.

40 On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”

41 He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed,

42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.

44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

45 When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.

46 “Why are you sleeping?”he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

照常(39节):在固定的时间和地点进行的规律行为。
橄榄山(39节):耶路撒冷东侧汲沦溪对面的山，山上有很多橄榄树，其西侧山坡被称为客西马尼园。
更加恳切(44节):指面对紧急情况，竭尽全力集中精神的意思。

灵修指南

耶稣和门徒一起吃了逾越节的晚餐之后，从耶路撒冷城上了橄榄山。耶稣在犹太地区服事时，会定期前往客西马尼园祷告。耶稣咐门徒要警醒祷告，免得陷人试探，随后自己到了离他们不远的地方屈膝祷告(41节)。面对十字架的苦难，耶稣祷告极为恳切，以至于汗珠如大血点滴在地上(44节)。耶稣恳求天父为将苦杯撤去，然而又说不要照祂的意思，而要成全天父的旨意(42节)。换句话说，耶稣知道十字架的苦难难以承受，但是为了成就天父拯救灵魂的旨意，选择顺从。盼望今天我们也按着神的心意恳切祷告。
