彼得三次不认主
66 彼得在下边院子里；来了大祭/司的一个使女，
67 见彼得烤火，就看着他，说：「你素来也是同拿撒勒人 YS 一伙的。」
68 彼得却不承认，说：「我不知道，也不明白你说的是什么。」于是出来，到了前院，鸡就叫了。
69 那使女看见他，又对旁边站着的人说：「这也是他们一党的。」
70 彼得又不承认。过了不多的时候，旁边站着的人又对彼得说：「你真是他们一党的！因为你是加利利人。」
71 彼得就发咒起誓地说：「我不认得你们说的这个人。」
72 立时鸡叫了第二遍。彼得想起 YS 对他所说的话：「鸡叫两遍以先，你要三次不认我。」思想起来，就哭了。
Peter Disowns Jesus
66 While Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came by.
67 When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked closely at him.
“You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus,” she said.
“You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus,” she said.
68 But he denied it. “I don’t know or understand what you’re talking about,” he said, and went out into the entryway.
69 When the servant girl saw him there, she said again to those standing around, “This fellow is one of them.”
70Again he denied it. After a little while, those standing near said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.”
71 He began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know this man you’re talking about.”
72 Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times.”And he broke down and wept.
