以斯拉记6：1～12

发现塞鲁士王原有的诏令

1 于是大流士王降旨，要寻察典籍库内，就是在巴比伦藏宝物之处；

2 在米底亚省亚马他城的宫内寻得一卷，其中记着说：

3 「塞鲁士王元年，他降旨论到耶路撒冷　 SHEN 的殿，要建造这殿为献/祭之处，坚立殿的根基。殿高六十肘，宽六十肘，

4 用三层大石头，一层新木头，经费要出于王库；

5 并且　 SHEN 殿的金银器皿，就是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷的殿中掠到巴比伦的，要归还带到耶路撒冷的殿中，各按原处放在　 SHEN 的殿里。」

大流士王下令继续建殿

6 「现在河西的总督达乃和示他‧波斯乃，并你们的同党，就是住河西的亚法萨迦人，你们当远离他们。

7 不要拦阻　 SHEN 殿的工作，任凭犹大人的省长和犹大人的长老在原处建造　 SHEN 的这殿。

8 我又降旨，吩咐你们向犹大人的长老为建造　 SHEN 的殿当怎样行，就是从河西的款项中，急速拨取贡银作他们的经费，免得耽误工作。

9 他们与天上的　 SHEN 献燔祭所需用的公牛犊、公绵羊、绵羊羔，并所用的麦子、盐、酒、油，都要照耶路撒冷祭司的话，每日供给他们，不得有误；

10 好叫他们献馨香的祭给天上的　 SHEN ，又为王和王众子的寿命祈祷。

11 我再降旨，无论谁更改这命令，必从他房屋中拆出一根梁来，把他举起，悬在其上，又使他的房屋成为粪堆。

12 若有王和民伸手更改这命令，拆毁这殿，愿那使耶路撒冷的殿作为他名居所的　 SHEN 将他们灭绝。我－大流士降这旨意，当速速遵行。」

The Decree of Darius

1 King Darius then issued an order, and they searched in the archives stored in the treasury at Babylon.

2 A scroll was found in the citadel of Ecbatana in the province of Media, and this was written on it:

Memorandum:

3 In the first year of King Cyrus, the king issued a decree concerning the temple of God in Jerusalem:

Let the temple be rebuilt as a place to present sacrifices, and let its foundations be laid. It is to be sixty cubits high and sixty cubits wide,

4 with three courses of large stones and one of timbers. The costs are to be paid by the royal treasury.

5 Also, the gold and silver articles of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took from the temple in Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, are to be returned to their places in the temple in Jerusalem; they are to be deposited in the house of God.

6 Now then, Tattenai, governor of Trans-Euphrates, and Shethar-Bozenai and you other officials of that province, stay away from there.

7 Do not interfere with the work on this temple of God. Let the governor of the Jews and the Jewish elders rebuild this house of God on its site.

8 Moreover, I hereby decree what you are to do for these elders of the Jews in the construction of this house of God:

Their expenses are to be fully paid out of the royal treasury, from the revenues of Trans-Euphrates, so that the work will not stop.

9 Whatever is needed—young bulls, rams, male lambs for burnt offerings to the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine and olive oil, as requested by the priests in Jerusalem—must be given them daily without fail,

10 so that they may offer sacrifices pleasing to the God of heaven and pray for the well-being of the king and his sons.

11 Furthermore, I decree that if anyone defies this edict, a beam is to be pulled from their house and they are to be impaled on it. And for this crime their house is to be made a pile of rubble.

12 May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem.

I Darius have decreed it. Let it be carried out with diligence.

大流士王读了达乃总督的上书奏文，便降旨寻察典籍库，最后在玛代省亚马他城的宫殿内找到了一卷居鲁士王的诏书，上面写着居鲁士王下令重建耶路撒冷的圣殿，并规定了具体的细节，还要求归还尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷的殿中掠取带到巴比伦的金银器皿，将它们放回原处。于是大流士王下令继续建造 SHEN 的殿，不仅如此，他还吩咐从王的财产中，每日供给犹太人建殿所需的经费及献/祭所需的用品（8～9节）。 SHEN 使用波斯王大流士重启了一度中断的圣殿重建工程，并且打破了古代近东社会认为宗主国的 SHEN 明必然大过属国的 SHEN 明这一传统观念，向全地彰显了耶/和/华 SHEN 才是真 SHEN 。要铭记，我们所信的 SHEN 是超乎一切的 SHEN ，又是使万事互相效力、成就善工的 SHEN ，盼望我们更深信靠这位 SHEN ，并常常靠 TA 得胜。
