以赛亚书8:1~10

用以赛亚的儿子作为记号

1 耶和华对我说：「你取一个大牌，拿人所用的笔，写上『玛黑珥‧沙拉勒‧哈施‧罢斯』。

2 我要用诚实的见证人，祭司乌利亚和耶比利家的儿子撒迦利亚记录这事。」

3 我－以赛亚与妻子同室；她怀孕生子，耶和华就对我说：「给他起名叫玛黑珥‧沙拉勒‧哈施‧罢斯；

4 因为在这小孩子不晓得叫父叫母之先，大马士革的财宝和撒马利亚的掳物必在亚述王面前搬了去。」
亚述王快来了
5 耶和华又晓谕我说：

6「这百姓既厌弃西罗亚缓流的水，喜悦利汛和利玛利的儿子；

7 因此，主必使大河翻腾的水猛然冲来，就是亚述王和他所有的威势，必漫过一切的水道，涨过两岸；

8 必冲入犹大，涨溢氾滥，直到颈项。以马内利啊，他展开翅膀，遍满你的地。」
9 列国的人民哪，任凭你们喧嚷，终必破坏；
远方的众人哪，当侧耳而听！
任凭你们束起腰来，终必破坏；
你们束起腰来，终必破坏。
10 任凭你们同谋，终归无有；
任凭你们言定，终不成立；
因为　神与我们同在。

Isaiah and His Children as Signs

1 The Lord said to me, “Take a large scroll and write on it with an ordinary pen: Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.”

2 So I called in Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah as reliable witnesses for me.

3 Then I made love to the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. And the Lord said to me, “Name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.

4 For before the boy knows how to say ‘My father’ or ‘My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria.”

5 The Lord spoke to me again:

6 “Because this people has rejected
the gently flowing waters of Shiloah
and rejoices over Rezin
and the son of Remaliah,

7 therefore the Lord is about to bring against them
the mighty floodwaters of the Euphrates—
the king of Assyria with all his pomp.
It will overflow all its channels,
run over all its banks

8 and sweep on into Judah, swirling over it,
passing through it and reaching up to the neck.
Its outspread wings will cover the breadth of your land,
Immanuel!”

9 Raise the war cry, you nations, and be shattered!
Listen, all you distant lands.
Prepare for battle, and be shattered!
Prepare for battle, and be shattered!

10 Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted;
propose your plan, but it will not stand,
for God is with us.

玛黑珥·沙拉勒·哈施·罢斯（1节）：“捕掠速临，抢夺快到”的意思，预言了亚述将侵略亚兰的大马士革和北国以色列的撤玛利亚，而南国犹大则将被拯救。
大马士茶的财宝和擂玛利亚的掳物（4节）：大马士革为亚兰的首都，撒玛利亚为北国以色列的首都。
西罗亚缓流的水（6节）：发源于耶路撒冷域外的基训泉，一直流到城内西罗亚水池的水，象征着神温柔而持久的关怀。
利讯以及利玛利的儿子（6节）：利讯是亚兰的王，利玛利的儿子比加是北国以色列的了。

大河翻腾汹涌的水（7节）指幼发拉底河，该河一日泛滥就变得极为危险。

灵修指南

神吩咐以赛亚在大板子写上“玛黑珥·沙拉勒·哈施·罢斯”（1节），又让以赛亚给他的第二个儿子起这个名字（3节），这个名字是“掳掠速临，抢夺快到”的意思，即神的审判就要临到，而南国犹大将回转向神。以赛亚预言亚述即将进攻亚兰和北国以色列（4节），而犹大也要受到亚述的侵略，因为犹大百姓厌弃西罗亚缓流的水（6~8节）。然而，犹大虽受到亚述如幼发拉底河涨溢泛滥般巨大的威胁，但是神会帮助犹大，亚述终将败亡（9~10节），因为“神与他们同在”（10节）。神的同在是我们最强大力量的源泉。当我们经历患难，我们要省察自己对神的认识和信心，愿我们信靠神的应许，再次回到以马内利的翅膀荫下。

求神使我在经过苦难的密谷时，可以躲在以马内利的翅膀荫下。
