路得记2:14~23

14到了吃饭的时候，波阿斯对路得说：「你到这里来吃饼，将饼蘸在醋里。」路得就在收割的人旁边坐下；他们把烘了的穗子递给她。她吃饱了，还有余剩的。

15她起来又拾取麦穗，波阿斯吩咐仆人说：「她就是在捆中拾取麦穗，也可以容她，不可羞辱她；

16并要从捆里抽出些来，留在地下任她拾取，不可叱吓她。」

17这样，路得在田间拾取麦穗，直到晚上，将所拾取的打了，约有一伊法大麦。

18她就把所拾取的带进城去给婆婆看，又把她吃饱了所剩的给了婆婆。

19婆婆问她说：「你今日在哪里拾取麦穗，在哪里做工呢？愿那顾恤你的得福。」路得就告诉婆婆说：「我今日在一个名叫波阿斯的人那里做工。」

20拿俄米对儿妇说：「愿那人蒙耶/和/华赐福，因为他不断地恩待活人死人。」拿俄米又说：「那是我们本族的人，是一个至近的亲属。」

21摩押女子路得说：「他对我说：『你要紧随我的仆人拾取麦穗，直等他们收完了我的庄稼。』」

22拿俄米对儿妇路得说：「女儿啊，你跟着他的使女出去，不叫人遇见你在别人田间，这才为好。」

23于是路得与波阿斯的使女常在一处拾取麦穗，直到收完了大麦和小麦。路得仍与婆婆同住。

14At mealtime Boaz said to her, “Come over here. Have some bread and dip it in the wine vinegar.”

When she sat down with the harvesters, he offered her some roasted grain. She ate all she wanted and had some left over.

15As she got up to glean, Boaz gave orders to his men, “Let her gather among the sheaves and don’t reprimand her.

16Even pull out some stalks for her from the bundles and leave them for her to pick up, and don’t rebuke her.”

17So Ruth gleaned in the field until evening. Then she threshed the barley she had gathered, and it amounted to about an ephah.

18She carried it back to town, and her mother-in-law saw how much she had gathered. Ruth also brought out and gave her what she had left over after she had eaten enough.

19Her mother-in-law asked her, “Where did you glean today? Where did you work? Blessed be the man who took notice of you!”

Then Ruth told her mother-in-law about the one at whose place she had been working. “The name of the man I worked with today is Boaz,” she said.

20“The Lord bless him!” Naomi said to her daughter-in-law. “He has not stopped showing his kindness to the living and the dead.” She added, “That man is our close relative; he is one of our guardian-redeemers.”

21Then Ruth the Moabite said, “He even said to me, ‘Stay with my workers until they finish harvesting all my grain.’ ”

22Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, “It will be good for you, my daughter, to go with the women who work for him, because in someone else’s field you might be harmed.”

23So Ruth stayed close to the women of Boaz to glean until the barley and wheat harvests were finished. And she lived with her mother-in-law.

蘸在醋里（14节）：近东的人以麦粉制成的烤饼为主食，通常沾葡萄酒醋来吃。

一伊法的大麦（17节）：“伊法”是容积单位，一伊法约为二十二公升。这远超过一般拾穗者一天所拾取的量，且足够供应两位妇女很长一段时间的需要，暗示路得从波阿斯得到极大的帮助。

活人死人（20节）：指活着的拿俄米及路得，并已经死去的以利米勒、玛伦、基连。

可以赎我们产业的至亲（20节）：参照当时的社会制度及摩西律/法，“至亲”有义务Wie亲族赎回转手外人的产业（参利25:23-28）、娶过世至亲的寡妇为妻，并为至亲留后（参申25:5-10）

灵/修指南

波阿斯不仅给了路得此时所需的食物，而且还给予了将来所需的食物（14—16节）。当路得将所得的大麦搬运回家时，必定能感受到自己得着多大的恩典（17节）。当拿俄米看见路得带回来的收获，听了她分享自己如何从波阿斯获得帮助，拿俄米开口赞美 SHEN ，并为波阿斯祝福。拿俄米知道波阿斯是她丈夫本族的至亲，在身份和财富上都是可以赎回亲族产业的人，这必定使她意识到 SHEN 美好的安排（20节）。拿俄米知道像路得这样的外国人，可能会受到当地人的欺侮，因此嘱咐路得不要到其他人的田里去，这可以看出拿俄米多么关心路得（22节）。比起眼前的一伊法大麦，拿俄米看到并确信的，是 SHEN 所预备在将来更大的盼望。
